Cox & Palmer Welcomes New Associates

Cox & Palmer is pleased to introduce our newest legal talent.

Atanu Haldar is pursuing a corporate practice with a specific interest in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial law, and corporate law. Atanu earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2020 after completing a B.Sc. (Hons.) in biology and a B.Sc. in nutrition from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Alexander Jessome is building a general legal practice and has a keen interest in civil litigation and wills and estates law. Alex graduated from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2020. Prior to attending law school, he completed a B.A. in history with a Diploma in Humanities from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Atanu and Alexander started their legal careers in the St. John’s office of Cox & Palmer and completed their articles earlier this year. They were called to the Bar in Newfoundland and Labrador on April 16, 2021. We are delighted to welcome them as our newest associate lawyers.
