Atanu is pursuing a corporate practice with a specific interest in the areas of commercial law, corporate law, mining law, and commercial litigation. Atanu regularly acts for clients in commercial transactions by way of share and asset purchases, providing strategic and practical advice to his clients. Atanu has also acted for both domestic and international lenders and borrowers in the mining sector and has experience in matters of corporate financing (both secured and unsecured), incorporations, limited partnerships, joint ventures, service agreements, and licensing agreements.
Atanu earned his JD from the University of New Brunswick in 2020 after completing an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. He completed his articles with our Newfoundland office and was called to the Bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in April 2021.
