Lynn A. Sullivan, CPA, CA

Lynn Sullivan is as a lawyer with the St. John’s office of Cox & Palmer, practicing corporate and commercial law. Lynn obtained her law degree from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2023. Lynn is a CPA,CA, holds the ICD.D designation and is the former Chief Operating Officer of the St. John’s office. She brings her 20 years of experience in business ownership and leadership roles to her law practice.

Experience

Lynn carries a general corporate and commercial practice which includes a wide range of commercial transactions, including commercial financings, commercial real estate, share sales, asset sales, mergers and acquisitions, as well as commercial litigation. She has an extensive business background spanning twenty years, as a business owner, as well as experience in senior management roles in the natural resources industry, professional services and as an executive in the public sector. Given her diverse background, experience and practical solutions focused approach, clients benefit from Lynn’s strategic advice at all stages of the life cycle of a business.

Lynn is an avid community volunteer, having served on the boards of the St. John’s Board of Trade, Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland & Labrador, Community Sector Council and YMCA of Newfoundland & Labrador. She is currently the President of the Canadian Bar Association’s Newfoundland & Labrador branch and serves as director and Treasurer on the board of Taskforce NL.
