Kassia is an associate lawyer in the Charlottetown office of Cox & Palmer. Before travelling off Island for university, she grew up in Kensington, PEI. Prior to law school, Kassia obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Criminology and a minor in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She obtained her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2021 and was called to the Prince Edward Island Bar in May of 2022.

Kassia brings a diverse skillset to her clients. Throughout her time in law school, Kassia was employed in both private legal practice and public legal aid. She gained valuable client service experience as a summer law student at Cox & Palmer, where she would go on to complete her articling year. Kassia also spent a year as a law student working and volunteering at the New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission focusing on Criminal Defence where she helped clients navigate the criminal justice system.

Kassia practices in a variety of areas, with a primary focus in family law, criminal defence, employment law and civil litigation.
