BIO

Bliss is an associate in the Saint John office of Cox & Palmer. He is building a general legal practice and is keenly interested in civil litigation.

Bliss first joined the firm as a summer student in 2021. He articled at the Court of Appeal of New Brunswick, where he clerked for the Chief Justice of New Brunswick and the other judges of the Court. Bliss was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2024.

A graduate of McGill University’s bilingual Faculty of Law, Bliss received a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor in 2023. While in law school, he was a senior editor of the McGill Journal of Law and Health. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History with Distinction from St. Thomas University in 2014 and a Master of Arts in History from the University of New Brunswick in 2019.

In his spare time, Bliss enjoys reading history and biography, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
