Halifax’s Colin J. Clarke Appointed to Queen’s Counsel
Cox & Palmer congratulates Colin J. Clarke on his recent appointment as Queen’s Counsel. The Queen’s Counsel designation is awarded each year to a select group of lawyers for their outstanding service, dedication and commitment to the legal profession.
Colin is a partner in the Halifax office of Cox & Palmer. His practice includes institutional and government litigation including representation of parties adverse to the Crown in complex administrative inquiries. Colin has been recognized as a leading practitioner by the publication, The Best Lawyers in Canada since 2008 for his practice in the area of Personal Injury Litigation. He has also been noted in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading lawyer in his field of Medical Negligence.
Colin is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society Complaints Investigation Committee and is on the board of directors of the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. He served as a board member of the Halifax Assistance Fund and is past president of the Continuing Legal Education Society of Nova Scotia. Colin is also past Secretary/Treasurer of the Nova Scotia Medical Legal Society.
