SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for a variety of litigation files assigned by the responsible lawyers in insurance defense and commercial litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, affidavits, motions, conference briefs, and other documents as required.
  • Ability to work on a variety of litigation matters and gain courtroom exposure including attendance at motions, examinations and other court hearings.
  • Opportunity to learn and grow within a diverse litigation group.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three + years of relevant work experience;
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, negotiation, communication and drafting skills;
  • Self-motivated and can work independently but also values working collaboratively;
  • Proven effective litigation, client and practice management skills; and
  • Demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset is an asset.
