Bridget Morriscey is an Associate in Cox & Palmer’s Charlottetown office. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from Dalhousie University and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2018. She was called to the Prince Edward Island Bar in 2019.
Bridget brings a broad range of legal experience to her practice. She has served as counsel for a major educational institution, advising on intellectual property and research matters while fostering strong relationships with industry stakeholders. She has also worked as a Crown Attorney for the Province of Prince Edward Island, where she regularly appeared before both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island, working closely with government departments and law enforcement agencies.
With this unique background, Bridget offers clients a thorough and practical approach to their legal matters. She takes the time to understand her clients’ needs and priorities, enabling her to provide effective, strategic advocacy.
Her practice includes a variety of areas, with a particular focus on general litigation and intellectual property.
