BIO

James is an associate in our Halifax office and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2023. He holds a Biology degree from Saint Mary’s University and completed his JD at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University.

James was the winner of the 2022 Gowling WLG Law & Technology Prize, which is awarded to the student with the highest mark in Law & Technology. James also received the Schulich Scholarship in Law for his academic excellence and community involvement.

In 2024, James was appointed as a Professional In Residence at the Arthur L. Irving Entrepreneurship Centre. He has also served as a guest lecturer for the MBA program at Saint Mary’s University.
