Terri Higdon is an associate lawyer at the St. John’s office of Cox & Palmer. Originally from Trinity Bay, she obtained a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Memorial University in 2004 and a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Health Law and Policy Specialization from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law in 2010.  She was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2011.  Terri has appeared before all levels of Court in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as the Federal Court of Appeal, and has been published or cited by numerous legal publications.  She has advised and represented large corporations in relation to access to information matters and litigation both provincially and federally. Terri also retains her nursing license (non-practicing).

Terri’s primary practice areas are Employment and Labour Law, Personal Injury, Privacy Law, and other Civil Litigation.

  • Assisting with and advising on workplace investigations
  • Drafting employment and other contracts
  • Commencing and defending legal actions both federally and provincially
