Tanner McInnis
Legal Assistant

Tanner is an associate in the litigation group at Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office. Prior to joining Cox & Palmer, Tanner maintained a broad litigation practice with a leading full-service law firm in Ottawa, Ontario.

Tanner completed his articles as a law clerk to the judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Ottawa. He subsequently served as a law clerk at the Federal Court of Canada. While in law school, Tanner served as Editor-in-Chief of the Ottawa Law Review and was selected as a Dean’s Fellow.

Tanner’s experience within a broad range of legal issues enhances his general litigation practice at the firm. A strong communicator and flexible problem-solver, Tanner strives to provide efficient, effective, and practical legal solutions in achieving his clients’ objectives.

Tanner is fluent in both English and French.
