Stephanie Charlton

Stephanie is an associate in the Fredericton office of Cox & Palmer. She obtained her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2018 and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2019. In her final year of law school, Stephanie completed a Public Prosecutions internship, as well as a Judicial internship at the Court of Queen’s Bench.

Prior to law school, Stephanie obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick in 2014. Her science background facilitated the development of strong analytical skills, and also provides a valuable perspective in the legal field.

Stephanie currently maintains an insurance defence and general civil litigation practice, through which she has had the benefit of representing clients at all levels of Court in New Brunswick. 

Stephanie also enjoys presenting to members of the insurance industry on various current topics, as well as authoring and/or contributing to various publications.

In addition to her litigation practice, Stephanie also works in the area of trademark law, specifically with respect to the application process and the registration, protection and enforcement of trademark rights.

Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
