Sian is an associate in our Halifax office practising in the areas of commercial,  insurance and marine litigation, and professional regulation.  After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Arts from Carleton University in Ottawa, she returned to Halifax to pursue her law degree at Dalhousie University.

Experience

  • Successfully brought and defended cases in all levels of court in Nova Scotia, as well as Federal Court
  • Appeared before various regulatory bodies (CPSNS, Atlantic Fisheries Licensing Appeal Board)
  • Commercial litigation experience advising on claims from $10,000 to over $300,000
  • Represents a range of clients including institutional (banking, energy, automotive), professional architects and engineers, and medical professionals
