Peter is a partner in the Halifax office and chair of its Corporate and Commercial Law group. He obtained his Masters in Public Administration and law degree at Dalhousie University. Peter advises corporate clients, institutions and entrepreneurs on start-up considerations, acquisitions and divestitures, debt and equity financing transactions and other commercial matters. He goes the extra mile to understand his client’s business so that he can provide timely, pragmatic advice when his clients need it most.
Peter also counsels licensed cannabis producers and license applicants through the complex regulatory landscape surrounding legal cannabis and its derivatives. He advises on the federal regime, the Cannabis Control Act (Nova Scotia) and the provincial regimes in several provinces where his clients operate.
