Pat is a partner in the Halifax office of Cox & Palmer.  Prior to joining the firm through a merger in June 2018, he was the Managing Partner of Cassidy Nearing Berryman, a Halifax law firm.

Pat has built a successful career in Condominium Law and acts for the majority of the condominium corporations in Nova Scotia, as well as developers of condominium and fractional projects throughout Atlantic Canada.  In 1998, he was made a Fellow of the Canadian Condominium Institute (FCCI).

A frequent writer for various publications, Pat also is a lecturer and teacher for several institutions across Canada and the United States, including his alma mater, Dalhousie Law School.   He is past chair of CCI National and the CCI–NS Chapter, where he remains an active member.
