Nick is a partner in the Halifax office of Cox & Palmer. He was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2007 after completing his education at the University of Durham (BA Honours, 1997) and Dalhousie University (LLB, 2006).

Experience

Since commencing practice, Nick has focused almost exclusively in the area of secured and unsecured debt recovery and enforcement and mortgage foreclosure, representing a range of major lending institutions, private lenders, credit unions, and individuals. Nick has successfully represented secured lenders in some of the leading cases interpreting and enforcing their rights pursuant to Nova Scotia’s Land Registration Act.

He is a registered Trade-Mark Agent and works to protect clients’ intellectual property rights.

Throughout Nick’s career he has gathered international experience, working in the insurance industry in both England and Saudi Arabia.
