Meaghan Kells is an associate in our Halifax office with a successful record of dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation and litigation. She completed her law degree from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law. She routinely assists clients with all manner of disputes, with a focus on commercial litigation, construction matters, property disputes, and insolvency matters.

Meaghan has appeared before all levels of Court in Nova Scotia, the Court of Queen’s Bench in New Brunswick, the Provincial Court in Newfoundland and Labrador and the Federal Court of Canada.

In addition to practicing at Cox & Palmer, Meaghan enjoys volunteering with the Canadian Ski Patrol, and currently sits as the Atlantic East Division President. In 2023 the Canadian Ski Patrol presented her with the Allison Smith Memorial Leadership Award, No. 7  and the National Appreciation Award, No. 1826.
