Kyle is an experienced commercial and residential real estate lawyer in our St. John’s office. He has acted for vendors, purchasers, and lenders in commercial and residential transactions and has advised both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing matters. Within this practice area, Kyle has extensive experience handling legal matters related to real estate developments and resolving land title concerns.

In addition to his real estate work, Kyle carries a corporate and commercial practice. He regularly represents corporations, owner-managed businesses, individuals, and other organizations in a wide range of business and financial transactions. Kyle frequently provides clients with advice on incorporation, corporate reorganization, asset and share acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance, and commercial litigation.

As a co-chair of Cox & Palmer’s Start-Ups Group (NL), he offers comprehensive advice to entrepreneurs, guiding them through their businesses’ corporate and commercial needs at every stage of growth.

Kyle’s expertise also extends to energy and natural resources law and maritime law.

Outside his legal practice, Kyle is actively involved in the community. He regularly instructs the International Business Law course within the Faculty of Business at Memorial University. He also serves as a Director for several organizations, including the Building Owners & Managers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador as the sitting Canadian Progress Club Representative, and the Pleasant Manor Corporation. Additionally, Kyle is the Chair of the Cavell Park Community Garden.
