Catherine is a partner in the Fredericton office of Cox & Palmer. She was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Catherine obtained her B.A. (in Economics) from St. Thomas University in 1981 and her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1984. She was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 1985 and has practiced since 1988.
Catherine practices in the area of Civil Litigation including Insurance Defence and Hospital Defence and is a member of Canadian Defence Lawyers. She has been a presenter on insurance topics at client seminars and at continuing legal education seminars.
Catherine is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick and the York-Sunbury Law Society. Catherine is also a member of the Board of Directors of St. John Ambulance New Brunswick Council and has been their legal advisor since 1989. She is the Past – President of the Board of Directors of the York Group of Companies consisting of the York Manor Nursing Home Inc., York County Properties, better known as the WW Boyce Farmers Market, and York Developments, a seniors’ apartment complex.
