Ashley C. Dickey


Ashley is a corporate lawyer in Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2020.  While completing her law degree she also accomplished a Masters of Business Administration from Dalhousie University, providing her with strong business acumen as well as strategic evaluation and planning skills. Her solid educational background enhances her legal practice and better equips Ashley in providing exceptional counsel and value to her clients.

Before completing her law degree and MBA, Ashley obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Dalhousie. She now combines her passion for sustainability with her background in science to support the growth of ocean innovation in our region and works with our clients as they continue to make advancements in renewable energy and natural resources.

As a corporate and commercial lawyer, Ashley works with clients at all stages of their business’ lifecycle. She is involved with incorporations, contract review, corporate restructuring, advising on tax implications and strategies for successful business growth. Ashley also works with our commercial finance team to assist with corporate financings, representing both commercial lenders and borrowers.
