Andrea Pierce

Andrea is a Partner at our Fredericton office. After spending the first ten years of her practice in our Halifax office, Andrea is proud to have returned home to New Brunswick.

In Family Law, Andrea assists her clients through difficult periods of transition with timely and strategic advice, and compassion. Andrea has experience negotiating complex cohabitation agreements and separation agreements. Her keen eye for detail ensures nothing is overlooked. When negotiation has not been a workable option, Andrea has strongly advocated for clients at trial regarding all types of family law issues including parenting and relationship, child support, spousal support, division of family assets.

In Health Law and Litigation, Andrea is a strong oral and written advocate, a strategic thinker and a proficient negotiator. She has represented clients at many levels of court, including the Court of Appeal, and administrative tribunals.

Andrea’s education (a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction at Queens University, including an international exchange at the University of Western Australia; and a law degree at the University of New Brunswick), provided her with a strong foundation for her legal career.

In 2010, Andrea was hired as a summer student at Cox & Palmer after her first year of law school.  She has been with Cox & Palmer ever since, except for a one-year hiatus in 2015 to 2016 when she was honoured to be selected for a clerkship with the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.
