Lynn Sullivan Named President of Canadian Bar Association-Newfoundland and Labrador Branch

We are thrilled to announce that Lynn Sullivan, lawyer in our St. John’s office, has been named the President of the Canadian Bar Association-Newfoundland and Labrador Branch! This role is a testament to Lynn’s exceptional leadership, expertise, and dedication to the legal profession.

Lynn brings a wealth of experience to her law practice, having earned her law degree from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law before being called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2023. In addition to her legal qualifications, Lynn is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds the ICD.D designation. Her extensive business background includes over 20 years of ownership and leadership roles, including her previous position of Chief Operating Officer at Cox & Palmer’s St. John’s office.

Lynn’s corporate and commercial practice covers a broad spectrum of transactions, including commercial financings, real estate, share and asset sales, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial litigation. Her diverse experience in both business and law allows her to provide clients with strategic, practical advice at every stage of their business journey.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lynn is a dedicated community volunteer. She has served on the boards of the St. John’s Board of Trade, the Public Legal Information Assocation of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Community Sector Council, and the YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador. In addition to her new role at CBA-NL, Lynn also serves as director and Treasurer on the board of TaskforceNL.
