Mario Fiorino, Vice President, General Counsel | Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC)
Mario Fiorino is Vice President, General Counsel at the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC). Mario has a national practice and provides legal, business and government relations support to all IBC regional offices. Mario has worked with insurance professionals and organizations in all Canadian jurisdictions, Europe, the United States and Australia on emerging risks, professional liability, organizational development and change management. Mario is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, International Association of Defence Counsel, Canadian Defence Lawyers, Institute of Corporate Directors, the Canadian Society of Association Executives and former member of the Canadian Bar Association-Executive Member Insurance Section.
Mario is a Certified in-House Counsel and Chartered Director.
Eric Rehse, FCIP, Casualty Claims Adjuster | Crawford Adjusters
Eric is a respected Atlantic Canadian casualty adjuster with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Specializing in complex casualty claims, he has extensive expertise managing litigation files, directing defence counsel, and coordinating medical and forensic experts.
Eric is known for his deep understanding of evolving case law and his ability to apply precedent-setting decisions to his work. In addition to supporting a broad range of P&C insurer clients, he frequently conducts investigations for retail organizations operating within their self-insured retention programs. Eric is licensed in all Atlantic provinces – Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and New Brunswick.
