Fraudulent Calls Alert: We do not make unsolicited calls seeking personal, private or sensitive information

September 9, 2021

We have learned that certain Cox & Palmer phone extensions have been “spoofed” by persons seeking personal, private and sensitive information from members of the public.  Neither Cox & Palmer nor our phone service providers are able to prevent bad actors from disguising their phone numbers.  These calls do not originate from Cox & Palmer and you should terminate the calls immediately.  If you receive a call which appears to originate from Cox & Palmer but have doubts about its true origin, be assured we do not make unsolicited calls seeking personal, private or sensitive information.  When we do seek information from you, we do so after a proper introduction and the information which is collected and stored, is treated in accordance with applicable laws.  If you do not know the person calling you and were not expecting the call, do not share any information.  Contact us directly and we will confirm our identity to you.  When in doubt about the identity of any person, do not share information.
